Fishing slow tapering gravel points in shallow water with Salmo crankbaits was the key to catching a half-dozen pike in Lake Sakakawea this week. Tony Dean said a slow retrieve with "these fantastic new cranks" worked like magic on the big pike. The Salmo suspending crank (about 7 inches long) worked the best. |
