Windstorm Topples WAPA Towers

We had a severe wind storm come through last Tuesday night.The two pictures are of WAPA towers about 5 miles from my trailer. These are the huge overheads directly from the power house at Oahe Dam. They lost over 25 of these towers and over 200 wood poles in this area with nearly 4,000,000 bushel storage destroyed for the upcoming harvest season by the straight line winds. The winds were clocked at 114 mph at Onida, a friend had an electronic weather station a block from my house and it quit reading at 98 mph here. Chris PS - I had a few minor branches broke, I was very lucky.
