Aldo Leopold's shack

Aldo Leopoold's "shack" is located near Baraboo, WI. He and his family bought the shack and the old farm on which it resides. Here, Leopold brought students, associates, and did his deep thinking and writing that resulted in "A Sand County Almanac," perhaps the best natural history work ever written. Leopold will be the subject of one of the segments of our TV show in March, '06.
